Description: Dance for Joy is an Art exhibition of International artists residing in the San Francisco Bay area. The Exhibit includes paintings, sculpture, jewelry and clothing.
Harry Weisburd is showing his painting ASIAN DANCER , inspired by watching CHINESE OPERA on cable tv. Mr. Weisburd finds the costumes , makeup and stage design fantastic. Chinese Opera has a tradition of 200 years. In the past only men performed both y male and female parts. Today women also perform. To be a Super Star Opera singer today, the performer must not only be an excellent singer but also outstanding acrobat and knowledgable about Kung Fu.
